Ogata Ryo

Born in 2001 in Tokyo. Currently enrolled in the Master's Program in Intermedia Art at Tokyo University of the Arts. His work is centered around modern-day yokai and invisible beings, depicted through paintings, sculptures, and animations. He thus strives to make these entities visible by illustrating the worlds that exist in the liminal spaces between humans and yokai, and between this world and the afterlife.

His recent exhibitions include "Teyandei! Beraboume" (27 gallery tokyo, Tokyo, 2025) and "NIRVANA" (diginner gallery, Tokyo, 2023). He participated in Start Box (Arts Council Tokyo, 2024, 2025) and "START Box EXHIBITION vol.3" (YAU CENTER, Tokyo, 2025).
