Unno Rintaro

Born in 1992 in Tokyo. Graduated with an MFA in Inter-Media Art from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018. He is currently based in Tokyo. Unno Rintaro is a contemporary artist who explores human beliefs and perceptions of the world through various media, including video, installation, painting, and sculpture, often using religion and games as entry points. He investigates the relationship between media, individuals, and society, creating landscapes where the everyday and the extraordinary intersect. He is also a member of the team running the material shop "Katakishi." Art angel.

His recent exhibitions include "Spiritual Fictions" (Decameron, Tokyo, 2025), "Raw Party" (Forestlimit, Tokyo, 2025), "Ordet" (EUKARYOTE, Tokyo, 2024). He participated in "OPEN SITE 2019-2020: Counterattack by Land / Curious Obsession" (Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo).
