Event Description
What kinds of expression can emerge from a single thread?
A thread can be stretched straight, allowed to sag, or tangled. Sometimes it moves just as we intend, while at other times it creates unexpected shapes.
In this workshop, participants will view artworks together with artist Mori Keita and explore various possibilities of expression by treating thread as a “line” and using their bodies to touch, move, and interact with it.
Discoveries that arise when things do not go as planned, and forms that change through interactions with others—this workshop offers an opportunity to experience these processes firsthand, put feelings and observations into words, discover the joy of artistic expression, and encounter perspectives different from one's own.
Why not explore questions without fixed answers, starting with a single thread?
